In Baltic TechCamp in Visaginas – presentation of paper cups business

On May 19-20, the technology camp “Baltic TechCamp” was held in Visaginas, it was organized by the USA State Department for the Baltic States.

This camp is the idea of support for business by the cultural attaché of the US Embassy in Lithuania, Althea Cawley Murphree. Lecturers from different countries – Estonia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, the USA and Ukraine – shared their experience in this international business development camp. The event was attended by 15 entrepreneurs from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Belarus. Successful selection of candidates, the opportunity to participate in the camp had two representatives of our district – Director of UAB Sivita Vytautas Sirusas and Project Manager of UAB Ronelda Snieguolė Zavadskienė.

Participants had unique opportunities to get the most up-to-date information on various technological solutions that help business development and growth. During the training sessions, representatives from all four countries have been focusing on e-commerce, advertising, marketing, finance, personnel management and other business related issues.

This great opportunity provided participants with not only new knowledge and skills, but also confirmed that all businesses, regardless of which country they operate, face similar problems. Part of these challenges can be successfully addressed using ever-expanding smart technologies, digital data and virtual space. In addition to this, all participants have developed useful business relations and shared a wealth of ideas.
